The Nieuw Amsterdam entered service in 2010 in the Signature Class.  Occupancy is 2,106 and there are quad cabins and connecting cabins.  With frequent and attractive 3rd and 4th rates, Holland America attracts families and multi-generational groups for Europe and Alaska sailings.  The longer Grand Voyages usually have more mature passengers.  HAL enjoys a high repeat passenger rate.
